The penultimate set of College Football Playoff rankings will be revealed on Tuesday.
Ohio State, LSU and Clemson should remain in the top three spots, respectively. But Georgia, Utah, Oklahoma, and Baylor will vie for that fourth and final spot by any means necessary on championship weekend; the Bulldogs have the best bet of making the final field with a win over LSU, but Utah and the winner of the Big 12 championship likely need to make a statement that can’t be ignored by the selection committee.
The Playoff rankings will be released each Tuesday leading up to conference championship weekend. The final rankings will be unveiled on Dec. 8. The College Football Playoff semifinals will be on Dec. 28 at the Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl in Atlanta and PlayStation Fiesta Bowl in Glendale, Ariz. The CFP championship game will be Jan. 13 at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans.
